35.1.0

Released 11 September 2026

Released: 2026-09-11

This release marks a significant milestone for Copilot Studio governance, delivering key automation capabilities and consent management improvements. Version 35.1.0 introduces a suite of new automation actions that enable administrators to manage Copilot Studio agents directly from the Automation Builder, alongside a redesigned consent flow with environment auto-discovery that simplifies onboarding and ongoing management at scale.

Features

  • Copilot Studio Data Placeholders: All available Copilot Studio data placeholders and relations are now selectable within the Automation Builder, giving administrators full access to agent data when configuring automated workflows.
  • Delete Agent Automation: A new automation action allows administrators to delete a Copilot Studio agent directly from the Automation Builder. Upon successful execution, the corresponding inventory entries are removed.
  • Reassign Agent Owner Automation: A new automation action enables administrators to reassign ownership of a Copilot Studio agent to a new user. The target user requires elevated environment permissions to complete the transfer, we found a bug during development in Microsofts API and are working with Microsoft to resolve the issue, this might lead to interruptions for certain roles.
  • Quarantine Agent Automation: Administrators can now quarantine or unquarantine a Copilot Studio agent through a dedicated automation action. Quarantined agents are moved out of active operation across all channels.
  • Consent Flow with Auto-Discovery: The Copilot Studio consent experience has been redesigned with environment auto-discovery as the default mode, eliminating the need for manual environment configuration. The updated consent side panel displays successfully connected environments, environments that failed to connect, and next-scan timing information. Detailed error states and an improved admin setup guide help administrators resolve issues quickly. Please note, a reconsent is necessary for the service to operate as described.

Bug Fixes

  • Copilot Studio Duplicate Relations: Duplicate entries appearing in the related objects section of the Entity Details page for Copilot Studio have been removed, ensuring that relationship data is displayed accurately and without redundancy.
